City View is the single largest fundraiser in support of the Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center. It will be held this year on Thursday, October 28th at 5:30pm. 

The Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center serves the needs of residents of Angelus Plaza as well as seniors living in the greater Los Angeles area.

It provides programs and services that emphasize the importance of continued learning and a healthy lifestyle in a safe and supportive environment, encouraging multicultural sharing and intergenerational involvement.

Revenues from City View will support the various multicultural services for the elderly in the areas of social services, education, transportation, creative arts and health which they have access to through the Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center.

Research has shown that these services play an intricate part in measurably improving the lives of participating seniors and in turn, they visibly foster healthier communities.

City View attracts more than 200 community leaders, corporate and civic officials, friends and supporters who come to enjoy the sumptuous cuisine, spectacular wines and a fantastic silent auction. The event will support the programs and services provided to the elderly of Downtown Los Angeles. 

This year, U.S. Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, District 34; Fernando Torres-Gill, Ph.D. Professor and Director, UCLA Center for Policy Research on Aging; and the St. Vincent Jewelry Center (a pillar of Downtown Los Angeles) will be honored at the event.
