Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center

We, at Angelus Plaza, would like to welcome you to our Senior Activity Center, which is open to our residents and older adults throughout the greater Los Angeles area. It is a comfortable environment to come and learn, ask questions, and meet people that represent the various cultures that make up Los Angeles and the southern California area. It is a place where you can renew old friendships and make new ones.

There is something offered for every interest . . . various workshops and seminars, a Computer Technology Clinic, and dances to name just a few.

Our monthly newsletter lists all the activities offered (Download a pdf of our newsletter today!).

Our center also houses the Tom Bradley Health Center (operated by Good Samaritan Hospital) and is a congregate meal site (operated by St. Barnabas Senior Services).

Our Social Service Coordinators are on-site to provide seniors with information, referrals, and to learn about potential benefits you might be qualified to receive.

Classes Offered

We are proud to provide our active seniors with a variety of classes at our senior center. These classes range from exercise classes, for a range of abilities, to technology classes to help our seniors be an active participant in the 21st century.

Activities Calendar

Our activities are as diverse as the senior population we serve. Whether you are interested in Ballroom Dancing or Korean Karaoke, Chinese Opera, or playing the guitar – there is something for everyone throughout the week.

Ways You Can Help

Our mission is to provide culturally-sensitive services and activities that enhance the quality of life of those we serve. Your generosity will directly assist us in continuing to expand their opportunities. Your support improves the health and well-being of older adults through the free classes, events, activities, and services offered at the Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center.

Newsletter

In an effort to provide you with current information on activities and events for the center, we publish a monthly newsletter. Ask about being placed on our e-Newsletter mailing list at angelusplaza@rhf.org or call 213-623-4352.
