Is Angelus Plaza accepting applications and how can I apply?

What are Angelus Plaza’s office hours?

The administration office is open Monday – Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

What is Affordable Housing?

At Angelus Plaza, affordable housing means subsidized housing for seniors whose incomes falls at or below income limitations set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In addition, to qualify, you must be 62 years or older.

Our community is a HUD 202/Tax Credit property – this means that those qualifying to rent will not pay more than 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent.

What amenities are in the apartment?

Each apartment has a full kitchen with energy star appliances, a bathroom with safety features, emergency pull cord and a balcony or patio.

Is Angelus Plaza pet friendly?

Yes, we have a pet policy and agreement that residents must sign. Our residents must get prior approval before getting a pet if they are already living in the community.

Do I get an assigned parking space?

We have very limited parking. New residents can be placed on our parking space waiting list. Our visitor parking is first-come, first-served.

Do you have a beauty salon?

Yes, there is a beauty salon on-site that offers a variety of services.

Is internet access available?

Wi-Fi Internet is provided on-site for all residents and their guests in designated common areas.

Is there access to cable television?

We offer access to cable television for all residents in their apartments. Apartments do not include televisions. Please inquire with your building manager regarding cable activation.

Are activities provided?

We create a fun, uplifting environment where our residents can be social, get involved, and enjoy their favorite hobbies and activities. We distribute a monthly newsletter to inform our residents (and seniors throughout Los Angeles) of upcoming activities. Is smoking permitted?

For the safety and health of our residents and staff, Angelus Plaza is a smoke-free community. We do, however, have designated smoking areas outdoors.

If I’m a resident, who can I speak to about reporting any changes?

If I’m a resident, how do I get something repaired in my unit?

Please see your building manager at the lobby desk, he/she will process a work order.
